Reconsideration
Immigration, Refuge, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) is not required to reconsider a decision; it is entirely within its discretion whether to review the case again. However, a well-prepared reconsideration request can be an effective way to address errors. To maximize the chances of success, requests should be thoughtfully constructed and supported.
Procedural Fairness Letter
A Procedural Fairness Letter (PFL) is an official notice from Immigration, Refuge, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) when there are certain doubts about an applicant's immigration application. The applicant has a set period, usually 30 days, to respond. We can provide expertise, guidance, and a strategic approach when dealing with PFL, helping the applicant avoid or mitigate serious consequences.
Criminal Rehabilitation
Criminal Rehabilitation is a process that allows individuals with past criminal convictions to overcome inadmissibility and legally enter Canada. Eligibility for Criminal Rehabilitation depends on the time elapsed since the completion of the sentence, the type and severity of the offence, and the applicant's behaviour since the conviction, etc.
Authorization to Return to Canada
Authorization to Return to Canada (ARC) is a special permit required for individuals who were previously deported from Canada and wish to re-enter the country. To apply for an ARC, applicants need to demonstrate the compliance and justification to return. Immigration officials evaluate the reasons, the person’s behaviour since the removal, and the risk to Canada’s security.
